Drinking water from air. Even where the air is dry.

Arid atmospheric water harvesters keep producing down to 15% humidity, where condensation generators stop. Plug one in, and a household or a whole site has its own water.

Most machines quit when the air gets dry. Arid keeps going.

Condensation generators chill air until dew forms. That works in humid climates and collapses in the places that run short of water. An Arid atmospheric water harvester captures water molecules directly with a metal-organic framework, so it keeps producing where the need is highest.

Air goes in. Clean water comes out.

No plumbing and no chemistry to manage. The unit runs the whole cycle on its own after a five-minute warm-up.

Step 1

Pull in air

A filtered intake draws ambient air across the MOF core, even when the air is hot, dusty, and dry.

Step 2

Capture the water

The metal-organic framework adsorbs water molecules directly, far below the dew point where condensation stops.

Step 3

Release and collect

Gentle, low-temperature heat releases the captured water as vapor, which is condensed to liquid inside the sealed unit.

Step 4

Filter and dispense

Multi-stage filtration brings it to about 20 TDS. It pours from the front tap or fills an external tank.

Questions, answered.

Does it really work in dry desert air?

Yes, and that is the reason Arid exists. The unit captures water vapor with a metal-organic framework instead of chilling air to its dew point, so it keeps producing down to 15% relative humidity. Condensation machines lose most of their output below roughly 30%. Output still scales with humidity and temperature, so a dry day yields less than a humid one.

How much water does it make?

The Arid Home is rated at 20 liters a day at 16°C and 65% humidity, the manufacturer's standard test condition, and reaches 37 liters a day in warm, humid air. The K-100 is rated at 100 liters a day and units cluster for larger sites.

How clean is the water?

Factory testing measured output near 20 TDS after multi-stage filtration, close to distilled and far below the EPA's secondary standard of 500 mg/L for total dissolved solids. NSF/ANSI certification for the US market is in progress and deliveries to US customers follow it.

What does the Arid Home cost, and what does it cost to run?

The Arid Home is quoted on request, so contact us for current pricing. Qualifying NGOs and humanitarian programs receive a discount, with volume terms above that. Running costs are electricity and one filter core a year at $45. The unit draws about 1 kWh per liter at the rated condition, so a household on typical US power rates spends roughly 15 cents per liter, and a household on solar spends close to nothing.

Does it need plumbing?

No. Set it in place, plug it into a standard 120V outlet or a solar system, and it produces water after a five-minute warm-up. It dispenses from a front tap and can also feed an external tank through a bottom hose connection.

When can I get one?

Reservations are open now with no payment. We confirm your place in the first production run by email and contact you with a delivery date and payment details once US certification is complete. International deliveries are scheduled directly with our team.

Is an atmospheric water harvester the same as an atmospheric water generator?

The terms are used interchangeably. Both describe a machine that makes drinking water from the moisture in air. The distinction that matters is how: condensation generators chill air to its dew point and need humid conditions, while an adsorption harvester like Arid captures water with a MOF material and keeps working in dry air down to 15% humidity.

What is the warranty?

One year on parts and the MOF core. Extended coverage is being finalized with the manufacturer and will be offered at order.
